Peter Cowdrey, who led walks around the Asthall grounds in 2018 and during our birdsong weekend in 2019, will be back with more insight into the secret meanings and musicality of birdsong. Kieran Stiles, our artist in residence at on form 22, will be exhibiting his paintings, drawings and film from this years exhibition. Exhibition dates 30th September – 20th October. Explore ways of describing peripheral vision by overlapping washes of acrylic on canvas to create an almost completely abstract start point.  Once this non-pictorial part of the painting is dry, the focal point of tree forms can be introduced.
