We are looking forward to seeing you at on form 22, which runs from 12 June to 10 July. You will need to book an entry time in advance; booking will open in March.

Travelling to on form

Please consider coming without a car. We know it is not easy and, for many, impossible. But our car park is a muddy field, and our precious planet needs us to try as hard as we can. So we are working on ways to help: watch this space for ideas on lift-sharing,  and below you will find some tips on how to navigate the bus timetables.

By Bus

It’s possible to reach Asthall Manor by bus using Stagecoach Bus 233, or the Villager V20.

Bus 233 runs from Woodstock to Burford, stopping at the top of the road that runs down to Asthall. From there it’s an easy 15-25 minute walk from the bus stop, depending on your walking pace, and whether you stop to admire the view! When you reach the fork in the road, turn left and walk down between the avenue of trees, to the large stone gateway (topped of course, with sculpture!)

Make sure you get the bus which stops near Asthall, not the one which goes via Carterton – usually every other bus. If in doubt, ask the driver, and say you want to get off at the Asthall turn / Windmill restaurant roundabout.

The Villager V20 Community Bus runs from Bledington to Witney, also stopping at the Asthall turn / Windmill roundabout,

By Rail

The closest rail station to Asthall is Hanborough, on the GWR route between London and Worcester.

From outside the station you can catch the Stagecoach 233 bus towards Burford, and get off at the Asthall turn. The journey takes roughly 30 minutes. See the information above for details of the 233 bus and links to the timetable.
