Garden Moth workshop

Mid Windrush Land and Nature Group hosted this fascinating hands-on workshop in the ballroom on the many marvellous moths found in our gardens! Led by Dr Julian Parfit from Wild Wantage.
The workshop involved:
- Setting up moth traps
- Learning about many amazing varieties of moths in our gardens
- Simple tips on garden design for moths and nature
- Viewing and identification of local moths
- Hearing and identifying passing bats
The guests also spent time indoors looking through Julian’s amazing picture collection and discussing some of the 280 moths he’s observed in his garden in the past 6 months.
